[Zoobank-list] error reporting for ZooBank

Hi Andy and Nigel,
people start to find errors in ZooBank/ION and want to have them corrected (see, e.g., below). I think it would be useful to get a dedicated error reporting mechanism established in ZooBank which then would help to correct ZooBank and ION.
We should make clear that this is not to correct changing taxonomies, but wrong higher classifications (sone species of Gnormius as mite instead of beetle, species of Trigonostomum as beetle instead of flatworm, etc. - those objective, obvious things which have not necessarily to be peer-reviewed but can be corrected by Zoological Record directly. This could be cone informally via an email link if Zool Record is willing to dedicate somebody to deal with this. There is a 'Contact' link in both ION and ZooBank, but it would be easier to understand if we had
a) an explanation in ZooBank why it is still full of errors (because it is based on Zool Rec and not on the up-to-date taxonomy or registered names)
and
b) a simple button to 'Report errors'
If only a part of the community is willing to help eradicating these errors, we will have a much better database although retrospective registration is the answer in the long term (which might take quite long).
Cheers
Frank

Subject: Re: [Zoobank-list] ZooBank prototype on-line
I would like to know how the protorype of Zoobanh will be modify when errors are found.
Example the name Leucon : it is written Porifera Animalia. If this word is used to describe a type of aquiferous system in the Porifera world , it has never been used as a genus name for a sponge.
kind regards
