I have one further comment on the misspellings. One thing uBio NameBank
and ION/ZooBank* have in common is that they lack advice on how to
evaluate their results. There is no upfront warning for Joe Public that a
percentage of these 'names' are simply errors of no significance, and
there is no help offered on how to resolve the situation when a series of
variant spellings are presented.

Actually, adding more interpretation of what taxonomy is all about and
explaining the basics would be beneficial at both sites.

In uBio if one digs down a little one does come across a tidbit on
misspellings, somewhat ironically included under the heading "NameBank
contains nomenclatural metadata that is not in dispute".

* currently identical AFAIK, though as to why this is I have no idea.
